New SiteMix Concrete Batching Plant Delivered to Tillicoultry Quarries

Parker Plant has supplied and commissioned a new SiteMix 90m³/hr concrete batching plant for Tillicoultry Quarries Ltd at its Loanleven Quarry near Perth, with a second SiteMix installation planned at another site later this year.

The plant features six 50 tonne aggregate hoppers, a 3,000 litre twin shaft mixer with automatic washout, four admixture tanks, load cell mounted weigh conveyor and feed hoppers, and three 100 tonne cement silos, all part of a modular design suited to both ready mix and precast production.

Bob Hare, Asphalt and Concrete Production Manager at Tillicoultry Quarries, said: "We have been very pleased with the quality of the installation, the performance of the SiteMix, and look forward to continuing our close working relationship with Parker Plant.”
