New RoadStar 1500 Installation
A&C Aggregates, a leading independent contractor and material supply business based in South Wales, has recently installed a new Parker RoadStar 1500 mobile 120 tph batch production asphalt plant.
With a wealth of industry experience and knowledge, A&C Aggregates was impressed with the RoadStar’s unique mobile configuration, its low-level design, and its compliance with noise and emissions regulations, making it the perfect choice for their urban site.
Sustainability and future-proofing were also very important factors for A&C Aggregates when considering the purchase of a new asphalt plant.
The RoadStar’s ability to be configured with recycled asphalt (RAP) capabilities and additional additive systems to produce reduced-temperature asphalt went a long way in satisfying these two critical points.
A Parker high-efficiency electrically heated vertical bitumen storage system to RBA (Eurobitume) recommendation was also supplied as part of the package, again having a major impact on reducing the plants' overall carbon footprint.
This latest supply further demonstrates Parker Plant’s commitment to supporting British contractors with British manufacturing.
